sentence

A group of words that gives a complete sense is called a sentence.functionally there are four kinds /types of the sentence which are given below.

1)Declarative sentence: they express information or ideas by making statements.they may be positive or negative . they are punctuated with a period (full stop) 
         e.g:1) he is a good speaker. 
              2) she is not my relative.
  
2)Imperative sentence: these also called command .they express commands, order, desire or wishes. they are punctuated with a period or an exclamation mark at the end, 
     e.g:1) yield! we meet at the airport.
          2) hurrah! we win the match.
3)Exclamatory sentence:  these sentences express strong feelings, or emotions.they are punctuated with an exclamation mark at the end.
    e.g:1) this is the best day of my life!
     2)  fantastic, let,s go!
4)Introgative sentence: these sentence express questions, they are ended with question marks. (?)
       e.g: 1)Do you like mangoes?
           2) Is he your cousin?

what are parts of speech?
part of speech is fundamental grammar words types through which we build a complete meaningful sentence by using "part of speech" or "word classes".this helps the reader to analyze the sentences and understand them .these are the basic grammar units to construct understandable sentences.
there are eight main parts of speech.

  1. Noun: the noun is the name of a person, thing or place, idea or a state of mind, etc.                 Example: Jhon is an intelligent boy.
  2. pronoun: pronoun is a word which is used instead of a noun. pronoun are                                      He,she,it,we,they,you,etc
  3. Verb: the verb is a word which shows an action or a state of feeling as known is a verb.                       Example: she kicks a ball.
  4. Adjective: A word describing a noun or pronoun is called adjective.                                                              Example:  she is a pretty girl.                                                                                                                               I am a tall boy. 
  5. Adverb: is the word which describes an adjective, verb, and another adverb.                               Example: Jhon drives a car slowly. (2) he bought a double blanket.                                                                                                                 
  6. Proposition: preposition is a word which shows the relationship of a noun or pronoun to the other words in the sentence.                                                                                                                     Example: 1) the book on the table. (2) she is in the class.
  7. Conjunction: is a word which joins two sentences or clauses or two coordinate words in the same clause.                                                                                                                                    Example:1) Jhon and Ahmed are teachers. (2) Ali goes to school but Salman doesn't.                                                                                                          
  8. Interjection: is a word or sound that express a strong emotion i-e surprise, happiness and sorrow are called interjection.                                                                                                          Example: Alas!(sorrow) ,hurrah!(happiness) wow!(surprise) etc.
